Features
- Light Weight D3-1 Dyneema body armour upgrade plate to be used with any VestGuard level IIIA vest.
- Dyneema is a polyethelyne thermoplastic, fifteen times stronger than steel and half the weight of an equivalent ceramic HAP.
- HAP's are placed into pockets supplied in VestGuard tactical covert and overt vests.
- Each vest carries two plates, one at the front and one on the back of the outer carrier.
- Addition of these HAP's will achieve the NIJ level IIIA rated protection when used in conjunction with NIJ Level III SAP's (Soft Armour Panels) suplied with tactical carriers.
- Dyneema fabric currently used in US Interceptor body armour.
