Digital Second Hand
The Canyon Digital Compass features an innovative digital second hand allowing users to visualize seconds counting down based on their needs, as they would with a traditional analog watch. Coupled with an enlarged time readout the digital second hand enables the user to complete their job with precision and ease.
Featuring a ruler (cm/in) and Morse Code guide on the back of the band you will be equipped for any situation.
Switch the tactical watch to mute as you enter silent tactical situations.
One of the items that sets this watch off from the competition is the band. Too many bands when "snugged up" feel like they will cut your wrist off, not this one. When shooting I prefer the watch not to flop around and it won't
FirstTactical did a good job with this watch.
I have had to pleasure of testing this watch for some time now. The Canyon by First Tactical is great watch for outdoor use. With a width of 55mm this watch stands out when you wear it and the size is good for seeing the time. At first, I was not sure about the display however I had no issues for seeing the time display during the day. Make no mistake this is a rugged watch from work to play. I even wear this watch for geocaching. The compass is accurate (once it is properly calibrated. The strap of the watch has mores code on it and a ruler! The backlight feature is well defined for night use. Finally, my favorite feature is the digital second hand on the perimeter of the face. This is great watch for everyday carry and is set a competitive price.
I must admit it took some time get the buckle band broken in but after a while it became easier to use. Be sure to read the instructions when you buy this watch because you need to calibrate the compass before use. Finally, be sure if you are wearing this watch in the water to be aware of the depth as it is limited to 10 meters
