  • Turned Pocket Clip Design

Traditional top mount clips rely on screw threads for strength. Our turned mount clip design alleviates pressure on the screws, eliminating the need to constantly tighten loose screws, or having the clip completely severed.

    Thumb Bridge Technology™

Specialized Thumb Bridge Technology™ provides the gloved or ungloved hand ease of opening in all conditions with added steadiness and skillful control of your blade. While open, the Thumb Bridge™ and blade choils allow you to choke up on the knife for fine cutting and knife work.

    Enchanced Pull Grip

Our enhanced pull grip gives the user added texture in the body of the knife for a firm hold and quicker response.

I got my knife about 3 weeks ago and it has done great. I was switching from a Kershaw Select Fire, which I loved, but was looking for something without the driver that was a little thinner. With the select fire I could open it easily with one hand so quickly that it looked assisted, and I liked that because being able to get the knife open that quickly can be useful. When I got this, switching to the thumb bridge was a huge challenge, and at first I considered switching back, but I decided not to and practiced opening it for a solid week periodically through the day. Now I am the same as with the select fire. It is a little smaller but it is about as thick as the select fire, but the handle on this is long enough to get a good handle on, and I wear somewhere between a large and medium glove, but leaning towards large. I do a lot of box cutting and it has done fine for the most part, but in some areas it seems to be dull, but this is changed when you cut it at an angle. I do sharpen it, but I am concerned about how long the blade lasts because on the select fire it would lasts for months. I work in quality for BMW and have used the plastic tool ALOT for reworking plastic parts without scratching them. I do love this knife and definitely recommend it!

Really nasty looking knife. I was drawn to how clean it looked. Once I sharpened it up a bit it became a nice little working knife. Cuts through your basic daily things and I like how the clip flips for the lefties.

Just got this knife in the mail today, and was immediately impressed with the look and feel of it. I purchased this knife as and EDC for use at work and around the house. I'm not a LEO or a EMT, but I'm not an office commando either, so that's the point of view of this review. All of the things said in the description are pretty spot on. The feel of the knife is really good, light but with substance. The fit and finish are outstanding. I really like the clip, and it's designed so that it really does make it easier to get the knife out of your pocket. The thumb bridge is a really nice design, and works as advertised, making opening easy for either hand, and providing a really comfortable and intuitive resting spot for the thumb when the knife is open. I am left handed, so I really appreciated that I could easily swap the clip to the opposite side. The included wrench and extra screws were a nice touch, although there was another small plastic tool in the bag that I haven't figured out a use for yet. I can't attest to edge longevity yet, but it is sharp out of the box, and handled my first-day routine cutting chores at home effortlessly. And let's face it, this knife just looks cool. The only thing I may have expected that wasn't provided would have been some sort of small care & cleaning guide, and maybe something to tell me what the heck that other tool in the bag was for. Also, I have fairly small hands, and this version fits me like it was made specifically for me. If you have larger hands, you may want to consider going for the Diamondback instead, but that's just my opinion. Overall very pleased with the Copperhead.
