Orders shipped via USPS or using FedEx ground will arrive within 7-10 business days (not including Saturday and Sunday, following credit card authorization. We ship to Army Post Office (APO) and Fleet Post Office (FPO) addresses. APO is used for Army and Air Force and FPO is used for Navy. First Tactical has a 30-day returns and exchanges policy. You may return your merchandise to First Tactical within 30 days upon the receipt of your product and returned product must be in resalable condition. Refunds will be applied to original credit card used at the time of purchase.
Items purchased with promotional items (e.g., free gifts-with-purchase, buy-one-get-one-free items, etc.) can only be refunded with the promotional item included with your return. If the promotional item is not included in your return, the total amount of the promotional item will be deducted from your total return amount. Items marked “Final Sale” may not be returned.
We stand behind the workmanship of each and every product we make. If you feel your item is defective or failing prematurely, please call our customer service team for a quick resolution. Turn items inside out and machine wash in cold water using mild detergent. Tumble dry on low. For items with moisture wicking properties, avoid using fabric softener.
We do product testing on all products that are a minimum of 25 times wash/dry/wear cycles. With that, we recommend for maximum color fastness, that customers close all fasteners (zippers, Velcro, snaps, etc) and wash their garments inside out. This will extend the life and color of their products. We do use premium materials and dyestuff, but any time we include the comfort of cotton into the material blend, we recommend that they take a bit of care to extend the color life of their gear.
We offer a selection of 100% cotton items for men and women, including the Tactix Cotton L/S Shirt, the Tactix Cotton S/S shirt, the Cotton Job Shirt, the Cotton L/S, and the Cotton S/S polo. These are great options for fire professionals, as they will not melt or drip.
Yes, Sizing should run true to size and in accordance with industry standard.
At this time we do not have any garments specifically designed for concealed carry however the Tactix stretch pants do offer a comfort waistband that will flex if the customer prefers to wear an IWB holster. Likewise, our woven shirts have enough body in the materials to minimize any outward printing of a CCW.
The women's pants would be considered a mid rise in todays market. These are specifically designed for a uniform, professional customer as compared to fashion. We have intentionally fit the pants to allow for the many activities and performance needs of our target consumer so that they can bend, move and function in their everyday active work environment.
An independent laboratory has tested this product and has found that the materials and seams provide passing results when tested in accordance with ASTM F 1671, Standard Test Method for Resistance of Materials Used in Protective Clothing to Penetration by Blood-Borne Pathogens.
