The EMS Pants boast our micro ripstop polyester/cotton blend fabric, DWR stain repellent finish, and a mechanical two-way stretch perfect for medical professionals who are constantly on the move. Running gusset construction gives you full motion ability, while triple needle stitching at critical seams keeps you going strong. The lightweight fabric and minimal layers make these the ideal tactical pants for warmer climates.

Best EMS Pants

These are the best EMS pants for folks who have more curvy builds. I looked at so many different companies and first tactical is the only company that carries sizes larger than a 22w. I am 6ft tall and wear a size 26, I order the tall and have my local seamstress hem the length to my preference. My measurements match to the size 28 but I found that the 26 fit better. They run a bit big but honestly it’s better than running a bit small. They are not high waisted but they aren’t incredibly low waisted. The extra belt loops provide a more secure hold for any kind of belt and the extra gussets allow these pants to move with you. From climbing in and out of ambulances to doing the weird kneeling squat pose on a patients bed. The pockets are spacious and easy to get into. I am able to fit my stethoscope in the side pockets and the ankle pockets are perfect for carrying extra sets of gloves. These will forever be my go to pants for EMS.

I love this style of pant!

These are the most comfortable ems pants I've ever owned. I was a 5.11 girl for a long time, but someone mentioned to try these after all the seam issues I had with 5.11. These are stretchy and comfortable. They're also a lighter fabric which I personally love. I'm 5'10 and 240lbs. I typically wear a size 16 in pants so I ordered a size 18 long, and they fit perfect.

Great Pants

I've found First Tactical pants fit my body type better than 5.11s or the generic pants my company provides. For reference I'm 5'4 and pear shaped, I have fluctuated between 200-225lbs over the years so I've worn 16s and 18s. I abuse my clothes and have worked many high volume 12 and 24hr EMS shifts in these, they're comfortable and have all the pockets I want. Plus the snaps on the scissor pockets keep those secure even if the hook+loop wears out. The belt loops have never ripped on me. The pants always held up longer than expected. I usually end up tearing the crotch when they're nearing the end, but so far the tear has always been small enough that I had time to order new pants before it became a problem.

My only wish is that 1st Tactical would offer a shorter length or unhemmed options. But I'm used to that problem and just hem them myself for now.
