Great bag! Now here's why.
I basically live out of my bags, carrying everything from paperwork, to water and my lunch, to spare gear and toiletries. My previous bag was a converted tactical backpack, which was hard to get in and out of and awkward to carry. This bag had none of those issues. It is spacious and belts into the seat, preventing spillage in the event of some high speed turns or sudden hard breaking. The extra large liquid pouches on the front are perfect for those extra large insulated bottles, but are a little deep to hold my insulated "big gulp" style cups. A problem I solved by shoving packs or gum or my winter hat in the bottom, preventing the cups from disappearing into the depths. The front flap opens to reveal a couple of small pockets, perfect for stickers or K9 baseball style cards, as well as a few spare pen pockets for when you inevitably leave your favorite pen sitting on the hood and it is gone forever. The large interior space is very modular, with a removable set of dividers. I have mine set up in a 50/35/15 configuration, with the smaller section where I dump my Polystinger when it is not on my belt. The side pockets are great for storing spare items, such as batteries, notepads, and other things you don't need regular access to but need to have available. The large shoulder strap tends to cover the zipper track and makes it somewhat annoying to get in and out of regularly. If you don't take the bag out of the car often, you could remove the strap and have easy access to the side pockets, but with all the room I doubt you would need to. The top flap pockets on the underside of the lid are very convenient. I keep everything from quick snacks, to spare Nitrile gloves. The zipper pulls are designed to open easily, but are a little clunky to close. Finally, we have a very slim zipper pocket along the back of the bag, which I don't use, but may eventually use to store my vehicle tow stickers, since my department has extra long ones that awkwardly stick out of the file folder I currently hold them in.
All things considered, this is the best bag I have tried on the market, and at an unbeatable price. It even has a hook and loop section on the front to display my name and department patch, but is easily removable when I am off duty to leave no identifying markers.
