Great Belt, Good Value, Perfect Sizing for me...

I own several tactical belts. Some are military issue, others are 5.11, Wilderness, and Amazon specials. While I love my Wilderness belts for there customization and heavy duty abilities, I hate the price and wait times. I took a chance on one of these First Tactical belts a few weeks ago and it's been my go-to belt since I've received it. Great value, great strength, perfect sizing, good buckle, and it doesn't fold/bend with the weight of holsters, mags, radios, etc..I received it very quick, which is also a plus, and it's easy on the wallet. I will be looking to get a 1.75" belt very soon. The only complaint I have, is there is some fraying near the non-buckle end of the belt near the velcro, but it seems to be a visual issue, not a internal strength or stitching issue. Nothing a lighter can't fix. Other than that, this belt is good to go!

Love First Tactical

Great quality stuff - I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered. I discovered FT from my training at Front Sight ... all of their instructor uniforms are FT, and I trust Front Sight would choose the best quality for their teams

I was deeply suspicious. FT won me over. Again.

I have been a 5.11 devotee since they came on the scene in the 2000s and owe much of my love affair with them to their rock-solid Trainer/Operator belts. I have three, all of which I've used for a long time, two of which I've used almost daily for over a decade, the black one harder and longer ever since I first got into this whole "tactical" clothing thing eons ago. They're all in FANTASTIC shape but for some butch distressed paint on the buckles and a few mms of very even fraying on the diagonal cut of the belt lip. I have hauled cargo with them, rolled around in the dirt, eaten pavement in the hot sun, you name it, and I could still sell these for good money after a decade and a half of abuse. First Tactical managed to get into my life through some of their clearance items, then the MOLLE gear, then the bags... They proved themselves to have quality on par with the competition with better-conceived designs at VERY fair pricing. I swore that the one thing they wouldn't displace were my 5.11 belts with the die-hard solid-steel buckles just chomping at the bit to snap your spine while dangling from a helicopter, certainly not with the cheap-posteriored fru-fru wannabe-hexagon aluminum-sandwich belly-bangles these Cali-boys were trying to pass off as innovation. However... after so many pleasant surprises from First Tactical and losing forty pounds (It's all calorie density, boys. Cut the C.R.A.P. and eat your damn veggies.), I let myself try one of these curved belts. It took about three days, but they totally won me over: (+1) The curved belt is genuinely more comfortable: It will warp less than standard web belts over time, preventing a rigid bubble at the small of your back; (+2) The curved buckle is genuinely more comfortable and looks far more professional; (+3) the hook and loop surface is more precise going all the way to the tip, not catching on crap and looking more professional; (+4) the smooth weave on the edges really does make it more comfortable, especially when worn against bare skin in summer; (+5) the aluminum sandwich is actually really well-designed as only the outer panel is aluminum, saving you a little weight while keeping A+ structural integrity; (+6) unlike 5.11, you actually get a little key cuff pouch; and (+7) you get a free mini-patch. Unfortunately: (-1) the special weave on the edges of the belt does catch the Velcro and will frey in time... that said, only where it will be hidden by the belt tongue; (-2) the edges of the belt buckle are unfinished beneath the paint and not in a sexy way... that said, only you will notice; (-3) the handcuff key stash slot seems a little flimsy as it's just a laser-cut tag and really should be at the back of the belt... that said, I have yet to have a problem and it's probably better suited to and ideally located for stashing cash while traveling; and (-4) the cute little free patch is woven and needs to be removed, immediately, far away from the hungry Velcro you're dying to rip open for sizing. Highly recommended... I've bought two and will eventually add a 1.75". Looks like I might just make good money on those trusty old 5.11s after all...
